My biggest fear when I started blogging and vlogging was not having the right equipment to back up my level of creativity, a true dilemma. It took alot of self convincing for me to even consider setting up on wordpress and designing what we all see now.
I always thought that it would be weird for me to start a YouTube channel. To open my phone, set up a stand and talk to viewers…it all just seemed taxing and too out of my comfort zone. We have all had imaginary channels and imaginary audiences that we occasionally talk(ed) to as we stare(d) into an empty space, introducing them to parts of our lives and narrating for them,but actual viewers seemed so daunting.

I won’t sugarcoat it, making content requires (some) money and can sometimes get expensive. That is not even the half, setting up my YouTube channel needed even more, here are a few things I got to make vlogging doable:

• Tripod
• Ring light
• Desktop tripod (so many tripods lol)
• Fill light
• Microphone

That’s not even everything I need! I need a camera for high quality content but I am however happy with the items I have gathered so far. I really want to be consistent with my YouTube channel starting March this year and fingers crossed, I get there. I know for a fact it is going to be so hard to do so considering I work late and have my businesses to run but I just have to find a way to incorporate those into my creative journey.

Here are the few things I am planning on getting in this fruitful year:

1. iPad (video editing)

2. Vlogging camera (better footage)

3. Headphones (Just because!)

Wish me luck, guys (and money too!) because I am barrelling towards my dreams.
